SYMPATHETIC BLASTING TECHNIQUES
Our team of experts specialise in a variety of blasting services, including: Soda Blasting, Vapour Blasting, Bead Blasting and Shot Blasting.

soda blasting

Soda blasting is a non-abrasive cleaning process that is safe and environmentally friendly, as the sodium bicarbonate that is used is non-toxic, biodegradable, and does not produce any harmful fumes or dust.

It is a gentler alternative to sand blasting and can be used on a variety of surfaces including wood, metal, glass, and plastic. Soda blasting produces very little heat from friction unlike other abrasives which makes it a great option for doing delicate components and panels.

vapour blasting

Vapour blasting is a process that uses non-abrasive media and water inside a pressurised wet blasting pot to remove coatings while simultaneously cleaning and prepping a surface.

This is a more environmentally friendly alternative to dry blasting, as it does not produce dust or fumes. It can be a more effective process, as the water helps cushion the media and prevent it from damaging the surface.

Vapour blasting is great for delicate parts such as Carburettors, engines and anything made of soft metals such as brass, copper and aluminium.

bead blasting

Bead blasting is a safe and environmentally friendly process, as the beads used are typically non-toxic, biodegradable and do not produce any harmful fumes or dust.

This type of blasting is a surface finishing process that uses small, round glass beads to clean, polish or texture a surface. Beads are propelled at a high velocity using compressed air or a centrifugal wheel. This is a versatile process that can be used to achieve a variety of finishes.

shot blasting

Shot blasting is a safe and environmentally friendly process that is a surface preparation technique that uses small, round, hard particles (shot) to clean or texture a surface.

Shots are propelled at a high velocity using compressed air or a centrifugal wheel.
